ULTROPOWDER range of ultrasonic cleaning fluids and powders

ULTROPOWDER - a groundbreaking new range for Allendale Ultrasonics

Allendale Ultrasonics’ engineers and chemists have been working to create ULTROPOWDER, a new, innovative range of ultrasonic solutions specially formulated to get the best out of the ultrasonic cleaning process.

Allendale Ultrasonics is one of the leading brands in the UK when it comes to dedicated ultrasonic cleaning fluids. Having sold ultrasonic consumables in industry-standard liquid form for many years, the engineers and sales team knew that there must be a more efficient, eco-friendly way of supplying customers. The obstacles when it comes to shipping fluids can cause a headache for the consumer - potential damage in transit, shipping restrictions imposed on chemicals and hazardous materials, or high shipping and storage costs due to size and weight.

We wanted a product which was economical, safe and easy to ship to our customers around the globe, whilst still guaranteeing the high-quality results expected of Allendale Ultrasonics products.
Whilst there are a few soluble powders on the market for certain cleaning applications, the ultrasonic cleaning industry standard remains dominated by fluid products. Carburettor cleaner, one of the most popular products, is almost exclusively sold in bulky, liquid form. Our team at Allendale Ultrasonics weren’t put off by this and started to look at a better way of doing things.

Fast forward to the launch of ULTROPOWDER, a range of powerful soluble cleaning powder concentrates. This includes ULTROCARB carburettor cleaner, ULTROOXIDE rust and oxidation remover and ULTROPCB flux and contaminant remover, with more in the pipeline. And we’re excited by what they have achieved.

ULTROPOWDER ultrasonic solutions are produced in the UK and the range proudly displays the MADE IN BRITAIN mark.  The product range is more eco-friendly as shipping in powder form means a reduction in packaging by around 80%, supporting our goal to cut down on plastic waste. The new, non-corrosive formulas can be shipped without restriction, opening up availability to international customers. And we didn’t forget quality and value for money - the new, impressive formulas have built-in softeners so do not require diluting with distilled or de-mineralised water, standard practice with concentrated ultrasonic fluids. And just 20 grams of powder is needed per litre of water.
